Teresa Barlow - Herbal Practitioner (Western Tradition) Qualifications: MURHP, Bsc. MBAcC Tradition: Western Tradition   Teresa Barlow first trained as a biochemist and then went on to study acupuncture graduating from the International College of Oriental Medicine in 1989. She soon developed an interest in treating children and in the use of western herbal medicine. She has lectured around the world in acupuncture and herbal medicine, helping establish children’s clinics in London, Israel, and The United States. She has also co-authored two books on these subjects - Herbs in the treatment of Children and Acupuncture for Children. She lives and works in Bath with her husband and two school age children. Lucy Jones - Herbal Practitioner (A fusion of Tibetan and Western Herbal Medicine) Qualifications: MURHP MA(Oxon) MSc DBTh Tradition: A fusion of Tibetan and Western Herbal Medicine   Lucy was trained in Tibetan Medicine at Tara Rokpa Medical College, and subsequently studied Western Herbal Medicine with the International Register of Consultant Herbalists. She practices a fusion of Tibetan and Western Herbal medicine, with a strong emphasis on using the energetic qualities of herbs to help restore healthful balance in her patients. Tibetan medicine makes no distinction between body and mind; and Lucy specialises in issues such as anxiety, depression, bereavement and stress. She also treats a wide range of physically expressed disorders including chronic fatigue, irritable bowel syndrome, sub-fertility, menstrual and menopausal imbalances, blood sugar imbalances, high blood pressure, migraine, lymphoedema and skin disorders.
